You also identified me as a non-student, a non-republican, (both not true) implied that I was an infiltrator, and that all of that was because I was a Jewish New Yorker....and made some other accusations as well... Why you choose to launch personal attacks at people you disagree with as opposed to debating the fine points of their posts, I do not know. But it's good ettiquite to not do that.

The United states is not only the new nation Israel's companion, but is it's genetic cousin. For the history, please click on my LostTribe Profile, below, and read the 3-MINUTE HISTORY.

well a *bit* of his stuff is correct ... it's the conclusion that runs contrary ... however these premises always run the same way ... often-called British Israelism or Covenant Theology (one definition), it makes essentially Gentile nations (a certain group of people in a Gentile nation that is) into Jews without the Jewish distinction that's most often present in that group ... i.e., many retained their religious heritage but a good deal did not, though by "race" they were still Jewish ... hence, one (two actually including the offshoot) particular denomination spends much time involved in genealogies, esp. interesting in light of the fact that the Apostle Paul specifically tells Jewish Christians to not waste their time on genealogies in the New Testament ... all are called to Faith in Christ regardless of lineage ... even the Pharisees claimed Abraham as ancestor, but Christ rebuked ...

It is quite clear you have not studied my Profile. To save bandwidth I will not post it here, but if you actually click on my LostTribe Profile below and actually read it, you will see how far off base you really are.

Frankly I couldn't care less whether you read it or not. If you are so arrogant you won't take 3 minutes to read the 3_MINUTE HISTORY, I sure as hell am not going to take ANOTHER number of hours to spell it out to you. The number of private messages and email I receive from these posts indicates a lot of people can read it & understand it, and overwhelmingly appreciate it.

So far you have brought absolutely nothing to the table worth discussing. It's up to you whether or not you can improve on that record. You begin by reading what is posted.

You'd be surprised at how much "Replacement Theology" is held here at FR.

Funny, I've never met anyone who used that term to apply to themselves.

However, there are a lot of people who hold to the traditional Christian doctrine, which is correctly called "covenant theology". You know, it's the idea held by a billion Catholics, 300 million Orthodox, all of the Reformers, and all Protestants prior to about 1820? That's a lot of folks to cavalierly dismiss.

And claiming we think "God is finished with Israel" is nonsense. National Israel was the prototype of international Israel, which is the Christian church. And God will, in his own time and manner, graft the "natural branches" back into the one olive tree.

Fools can base their notions on the same information as wise men. The difference is in the men, not the information. I don't know enough about British Israelism or Christian identity, or whatever, to judge them. I know what is said about them, but I also know what is said about gun owners, conservatives, "rightwing zealots" (Christians), et cetera, by those who want their message to go away without having to refute it by scolarship and logic. Of course, that invariably means they can't, and must use those means.

Whenever you see an attempt at emotional demonization without reasonable recourse to opposing facts and nonancedotal evidence, most certainly there will be salient facts another wishes you not to know or believe.

These tactics are as old as pissing on the ground. But they have a tried and ready remedy, go to the facts and evidence on which the maligned viewpoint is based and see if it is valid. If the data are historically based and verifiable, and the inferences drawn from the data are logical and reasonable, the use of the data by maligned viewpoint isn't the data's fault.

I can see you have a problem with the implications of the information, if true. I can understand that if the data is true, the implications have to be faced. I sympathize. But I'm interested in finding out the truth of the matter. Do you have anything but summary conclusions to tell me, things you've been told and believe?

"... the Third Temple, which is coming despite the naysayers . . ."

The goal of the Temple Mount Faithful is the building of the Third Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

I take it from my multiple readins of the New Testament (and the Old) ... those conclusions, with regard to British Israelism, and the like do not bear out (whether or not somebody is promoting that here is now secondary I suppose but that's what it seemed to me) ... indeed, sometimes direct references, such as the genealogy thing, are still ignored amazingly in certain denominations ... again this is usually done by another book which supersedes the Bible and from that point, it's katy-bar-the-door ... the New Testament is pretty clear about Faith in Christ's Atoning Work ... Indeed, the Apostle Paul told one particular group he was determined to know nothing else (i.e. that he taught) except Christ and Him Crucified ... all other is a distant second ...

some, however, have made quite an effort to address these issues in somewhat the depth that it appears you desire ... I believe Christian Apologetics and Research Ministry would be your best bet ... the Christian Identity Movement that you mentioned is associated with a various form of BI they affirm ... here is a link ...

http://www.carm.org/list/christian_identity.htm

it appears they only have the one article so perhaps a Google search might yield more ...

absolutely; it has been a goal of Gershon Solomon ever since he witnessed the 1967 recapture of Jerusalem by Israel ... his Temple Mount Movement group is but one of several pursuing this task ...

Just to keep the record straight, this is the opening preface from my LostTribe Profile page which you refuse to read, yet in your wisdom think you are commenting upon:

This site is about HISTORY, both Archeological and Biblical. It is NOT about Christian or Jewish Identity, British Israelism, White Power or anti-Semitism, so if that's what you're looking for, SCRAM! But if you are a serious student of HISTORY, and have an open mind, read on...
