Fr. Michael Spillane, executive director of the Federation of Diocesan Liturgical Commissions, has resigned after 16 years after the revelation that he was defrocked in 1991 by the Baltimore Archdiocese for molesting six youths.
Regardless, he will be awarded the 2002 Frederick McManus Award for "service to pastoral liturgy."
The Executive Director is an ex officio member of the Bishops' Committee on the Liturgy, a group still under the influence of Rembert Weakland and recently chaired by Bishop Wilton Gregory, and in the past by Bp. Daniel Pilarczyk, as well as Weakland.
Fr. Burton, Chairman of the Federation, was "surprised" by this, even though Baltimore insists that they had passed on the information when Spillane was defrocked.
Spillane was also active with creation of the "children's Mass" text, and with the National Federation of Catholic Youth Ministers.
Earlier, Fr. Kenneth Martin, former Chairman of the Federation, was forced to resign from his position as Associate Director of the Bishop's Committee on the Liturgy after he was arrested for molesting a male HS student.
Fr. Martin was vocations director for the Sulpicians in California, and also served on the LosAngeles Archdiocesan Theological-Liturgical Commission.

These revelations ought to provoke a bit of thought.
Liturgy practice (and mal-practice) in the USA has been managed by a rather interesting group of people--a tight-knit group, so to speak.

In combination with what we know of Rome's criticisms of ICEL translations (and guess WHO is a member of ICEL--the Chairman of the Bishops' Committee on the Liturgy) there is no doubt in my mind that the gravely dis-ordered are running the Liturgy establishment.
What better way to detach you and your children from the Faith?

[A]fter he was arrested for molesting a male HS student . . .IOW, he's not a pedophile, but a species of gay male known as a chickenhawk.

Though it's true those who do the most damage remain closeted.

The more a priest praises the fruits of Vatican II, the more likely that he is one.

Weakland, Pilarczyk , Martin, Spillane... Anyone else see a curious pattern here? Apparently, if you molest another male you get to design the Novus Ordo. How...convenient! Is this what Bugnini had in mind all along?
To: ninenot
These people should be in jail,a few weeks ago we found a make pretend priest for a woman. We had a lot of help from priests all over.We tracked him down and sure enough he was not a Catholic priest.

Apparently, if you molest another male you get to design the Novus Ordo. How...convenient! Is this what Bugnini had in mind all along? Bugnini was also caught, cassock down, with an American priest on his staff in the mid-70's: Rembert Weakland. As a result, Bugnini was exiled to Tehran as nuncio and Weakland shuffled off to Milwaukee. Neither of them got the red hats they were in line for.
So was the Novus Ordo conceived in sin? Does Bugnini's buggery invalidate it? You be the judge....

a species of gay male known as a chickenhawk a species of statutory rapist known as a pederast.

I always try use the English words for the Bugnini rite;that is,I refer to it as, the "'New Order' worship service",hoping people will connect the dots. Some do,some don't.I am trying to say the Prayer to St. Michael every time I go to any Catholic Church for whatever reason. I think I will start praying it every time I even drive past a Catholic Church.

IOW, he's not a pedophile, but a species of gay male known as a chickenhawk. Yes. The US Bishops are trying to spin this as being about "children" (pedophilia). When the truth is that this is about homosexuality, and that the homosexual priests are praying upon young men and boys through their positions in the Church. The Bishops are also ingnoring the fact that for years, homosexuals have been (forgive this) penetrating the Church, both to gain access to other men and boys to have sex with but to also water down the Church's position regarding the amorality of homosexuality. The Church must purge the boll weavils if it is to survive.

we found a make pretend priest for a woman If one of the fairy priestesses goes transgender...is he then a priest or a nun?
