I have a large number of business associates who are employed in production work here. They all work here on current productions.
As far as only the management and post production happening in California, I think you are greatly mistaken.
I have to do this to pay for my mortgage and my kids here is Los Angeles... I have no desire to spend three months away in Canada, but I need the work.
What's unfortunate is that my usual cadre of production staff here is Los Angeles will not be allowed to join me. It will be an entirely Canadian production. My associates that I would normally hire will not get the work from me this time.
This is becoming a trend and a lot of people behind the scenes are out of work... We need tax incentives... ARA
