One always "assumes" that the gunman accused of a racist crime is not the same color as those being shot. My point is that this article (without pictures being shown) makes no mention of the race/color/national origin of this gunman. The same certainly would not be true had the races involved been reversed. The other difference is that there are no race riots in NYC this morning. There are no white Louies, Als, or Jessies, whipping up the rhetorical and actual flames of a race war over this HATE CRIME. I bet there are no homes, bars or other businesses being torched or anything over this. I'm sure the NY Slimes story (if covered at all) will read something like: "This poor racially unidentified victim of the abuses of white society simply succumbed to the pressures of his unfortunate situation and committed a forgiveable act out of frustration. Waaaaa, blubber, sniff."

Armed Man Shoots Three in Manhattan NEW YORK (AP) - A heavily armed black man allegedly shot three people and tried to set patrons at a Manhattan bar on fire Sunday before being wounded by officers and arrested in what police said was a racially motivated attack.

The Associated Press just upset the PC applecart.
