Yeah, I love when people use "conspiracy theories" interchangably to refer to allegations of a criminal conspiracy based on known facts and motives.

And as for any suspicion of a cover-up, they'll imply that cover-ups never happen and there could never be a motive or desire for someone to do so. Especially with the honorable and spotless FBI (cough!) or Bill Clinton. Where have all the real reporters gone?

After all, what was the mainstream media's greatest journalism story in their lives? Watergate: A conspiracy theory leading to a criminal conspiracy topped off with a cover-up.

This could fit the same pattern or maybe not. But just like TWA800, real reporting would be too difficult and hurt the bottom line.

Yep, most of these happened under klintoons watch but the usual suspects are still in the positions of power. Our new FBI directors first official duty was to minimize and coverup for the offices failures. The FBI and CIA need a complete house cleaning. The fact that we paid these inept officials performance bonuses is beyond belief.

The term "conspiracy theory" covers everything from tinfoil-hat crackpottery about Elvis being abducted by a Bigfoot-piloted UFO to rock-solid prosecutions cases against criminal conspirators. Blurring the distinctions between cases that fall near the ends of this gamut is intellecutally dishonest.
