As has been pointed out so many times before, the only thing the Arab world understands is FORCE. If you negotiate, you are weak. The Arabs use bluster because it works within the Arab world. Because we answer their bluster with talk of peace, they perceive us as weak.

The only thing that is going to change this is to turn the region into one very smooth strip of glass. THAT they could understand.
