Who the hell believes she 'accidently' set the forest on fire by burning a letter?
What was it.....8000 pages long?
Did she need 42 gallons of gasoline to prime it?
We got one sick puppy here.

No man's insensitivity could rival her own. She has two teenage children and has just ruined their lives. Can you imagine what hell they are enduring now? For what? Because Mom wanted attention or a promotion at work, and thought setting a forest fire and reporting it would meet her needs?

"She's not a full-fledged jerk or anything. She's a caring person who made a mistake," the pastor said.Don't sell her short, Rev, she's at least a half-fledged jerk.

I don't know how much time you spend outdoors. I've lived in forest areas. I once saw someone almost set the Miles Standish Woods (Massachusetts) on fire by discarding a lit cigarette. We got into a truck and drove off without realizing what was done, and were a few hundred yards down the road when I happened to look back and saw smoke. By the time I banged on the cab wall, got the truck turned around, and went back to the site, it took all 5 of us to stomp out the flames and it was a near thing.
The "burning letter" story may not be true, and the evidence may show that, but absent any examination of evidence the story is certainly possible.
