I went to boring schools. None of the teachers I knew of were involved in any major or minor scandals. There was a rumour that my high school history teacher was gay, but no one really cared and it wasn't as though he were hitting on the students.

The "worst" teacher I know of was an English teacher who yelled at students...of course, they typically deserved it.

In HS in the 60s we had two gay guys who were inseparable and never talked to anyone else. They were always on Acid. One morning they were tripping and playing on the highway on the way to school. A well-liked History teacher ran over and killed one of them. They other committed suicide several months later. In 4 years, 8 students out of about 40 of us on my school bus routed died from preventable causes. Statistically, we would have been safer in Viet Nam.

In middle school. We had a gay history teacher who was spending WAY too much time with some of the boys. We also had a lesbian Asst Principal and her lover was a music teacher.
