The main area of interest is the high country of central Quebec/Ungava.
That is the center of 'glacial cap' country. One 'no-summer' there, and the ice may start forming. No joke.

Sure, it wouldn't be Alaska that provides the seed of the next Ice Age icecap. During the past Ice Age the Interior was free of glacial ice, as will probably be the case again next time since there isn't enough precipitation. We expect temperatures of 35 tonight, but don't worry, it will warm to 60 during the day.
