Pakistan are the "Italy" of the WW-III Axis. Like Italy prior to WW-II, they are considered "friendly" by the soon to be New Alliance (with the lone exception of India) and are playing a prominent role in a fiendish scissor strategy / dialectic that will find the soon to be Allies teetering on the verge of falling on our arses. My only question is, when will this "Italy" undertake their "Ethiopian Adventure" and what will be that "adventure?"
It sure is a lonely place to be a geopolitical realist these days! ;)

At least you're not on DU or Plastic.
After reading the book about FDR's dalliance with the VichyFrench in 40-43, one can see how even the astute leaders can wilfully go along with a strategy based more on wishful thinking than on facts on the ground

Stretching the analogy but the takeover of Afghanistan by the Taliban aka - Pakarmy types....in 94-96. Of course, Kashmir awaits this September.
