When I was a young man, one of the womens magazines had a monthly feature "Can This Marriage be Saved" which would have both sides tell their stories, followed by a marriage counselor who disected the imput from both parties. Then the story followed up on the results.
Obviously some cases were hopeless, but many that seemed to be hopeless were resolved.
Right. Hope it stays that way. For a while there, we were drifting into this "Do not criticize anything Dubya does or we will all pile on and you might even get banned" territory. This drift seems to have lessened lately, or maybe just because I have not been able to participate as much, maybe I'm just not seeing it as much.
I do know one thing: That Way, There Be Dragons.

ConsistentLibertarian is a laugh-riot! The guy flies into a complete tizzy every time you nail him on something. Funny stuff. He sent me like, 7 messages in a row, each different, when I nailed him on something the other day. He also refuses to debate using logic and objective facts. Lot of fun messing around with him.
After all, we just had a whole thread devoted to laughing at some Palestinian kids that were cut to ribbons by IDF machine gun fire.

I can understand why you were banned. Anyone who advocates violence against a fellow American who has not been adjucated as a criminal by the US court system is acting completely out of line.
You must work within the system or anarchy reigns supreme, and I know you don't want that. For if you shoot an abortion doctor, the next thing you know, a pro-abort is shooting up a church.
We all know the line, some will test it every so often, but they honestly know the line is there for a good reason. If the line is too far out there, good communication will be hurt. I know if the vulgarness is too horrible, I will be gone. I can go to an MTV chat site and see all the vulgar name calling I can stand. This needs to be an adult atmosphere where good discussion can occur, the "LINE" makes that a possiblity.
It's sort of like when you're a little kid that kicks an ant-pile just to watch 'em scramble around.

The only people I see that are permanently banned are those who continually step way out of line.
