I have asked my fellow FReepers before to give me their opinions regarding the silence the US media is taking toward the disgraceful events happening in Zimbabwe, & it seems like none of you want to talk about it, either. Therefore, I'm gonna ask it again: why is it that the only place I can learn about the horrific events in Zimbabwe are on FreeRepublic or WorldNetDaily? Why is the American press not telling the us about this government-induced tragedy??? Why isn't a "fair & balanced" news organization such as Fox News keeping this under the rug, considering the fact that they aren't supposed to have the liberal bias that other networks do? I'm very disappointed that even Fox won't say anything!

Mugabe put new rules in against reporting the truth.

The BBC was banned before the election. An American-born, British newspaper reporter, and long-time Zim resident
was charged, found not guilty, and promptly urged (ordered?) to leave.

Seems Mugabe's supporters were said to be after hime.

This is the biggest disgrace of American liberalism. Years ago I'm sure we all predicted this outcome. I won and my liberal cohorts are silent. Let's round up the Ed Asners and the like and put it to them. Where's Clinton and Carter
how about Jesse.
