Unless the leadership changes, Israel will ultimately have to force the Palestinians into Jordan or Egypt. If the Palestinians stated goal is to wipe Israel off the map, giving them a state isn't going to change anything. Since they've been training their people to hate and kill Jews for decades now, they aren't going to be able to tell their people 'now we must live in peace with our Israel our sworn enemy'. That isn't going to fly. Not to mention all of the terrorist groups raison d'etre. Their vested interest is to keep the conflict going. Look for the Palestinians to get their own state, the terrorism to continue, and Israel eventually losing the war or kicking the Palestinians into neighboring countries.
