Good point about currency exchange rate mechanism.... notice how the BOJ (Bank of Japan) often times steps into the currency markets to buy massive quantities of USDollars, thus keeping the greenback strong, and the Yen weak, to benefit their exporters. Currency strengths and weaknesses work both ways.

Yes, there are tons of services and products from Canada that Americans are buying more often as the Canadian dollar drops. A low Canadian dollar sucks business from the US. Because of Canada's proximity to the US, practically every market is affected.
