Oddly enough, I'm not mad at this guy. Maybe a lttle numb. I think it has to do with Maryland without a CCW. It's like playing in the ocean and blaming a shark. I'll get furious if he gets off with a life sentence or just quits and they never find him.

Yes, I was in the ocean scuba diving when there was this big shark. I didn't get hurt and maybe that's the difference.

Any ideas why the shooter would leave the tarot card and then ask police in a separate handwritten note not to release information about the tarot card to the public?

because there's a chance the school shooting was tangentially 'copycat'.
too many inconsistencies with the others.

Definite possibility, although I think they were all related. Long range shot, same type of bullet, etc. We shall see.

I thought of it after the shootings; when they talked about a white van, I immediately thought about the vent windows on my Caravan. Don't worry about me: I am not a nut, just a Freeper.

Well, looks like (as I suspected) the white Dodge Caravan from last night appears to be irrelevant; heard local radio news with segment from a P. William County press conference, they located the driver of the white van, gave adequate explanation of why they were there and such, pretty clearly not a suspect.

So once again, the ONLY actual info besides the bullets and the tarot card is a white truck ONE witness saw near ONE of the locations in the original Montgomery County shootings; and that truck could be irrelevant, too.

it was Pete or someone else who made the connection to "Navy Seals" and later someone mentioned the game. I was thinking more on the lines of the game, "Silent Scope" back then.

It turns out it was Merovingian who mentioned Navy Seals first on Monday.

At 11pm I posted the breaking exclusive by Mike Buchanan about the Tarot card having the words "I AM GOD"

Shortly after that, Pete posted that the nickname of the sniper in the movie 'Navy Seals' was God.

I then made the connection back to the sony playstation game.

You're very welcome. My first post to you was because I thought you were referring to video games in general, and I was following the thread when Shooter2.5 mentioned a specific title.

Ok, thanks. I saw the movie some years back and never saw it again.
I have lunch with a guy who at one time ran communications for the Seals. I still haven't had the opportunity to shoot with him. I think we keep putting it off.
I did hear he's a lousy shot. Too much machine gun time?

I do play the game "Delta Force" as much as I can.
