I don't know why people believe that news organziations are of a single hive mentality, because they're not. They're as dysfunctional as the offices everyone else works in. Do you really think the people that have to wake up at 4 am on Saturday morning to do F&F are studiously monitoring every second of FNC programming for the entire preceding week? They're not. More than likely they're sleeping. Unless someone from FR specifically contacted a Fox & Friends Weekend producer and let him/her know about our counterprotests and that we'd appreciate some coverage, we have no reason to expect them to know about it.
