I know Dumars guarded Jordan and did a helluva job on him. He might have guarded Magic too. I need to check back.
Dumars belongs in the Hall of Fame.

What do i mean? I guess you should talk to Jeannie Buss or the ex-Mrs. Jackson or the first ex-Mrs. Jackson. Apparently phil, like michael jordan, isn't the kind who likes to eat dinner at home much.

Okay, jerk let's talk about A*holes. How about those paragons of class, the Detroit Pist-ons, walking out of the arena before the game ended when the Bulls finally whipped their butts, refusing to acknowledge the Chicago team. Did you see the Lakers players, to a man, congratulating the Spurs for a great series after the buzzer sounded? It's obvious that watching too much of the Pist-ons, the lowest class team in the NBA, has damaged your contact with reality.

The Lakers grabbed a grand total of zero rings during the Russell-led Celtic era. But their '71-72 season was as impressive as any in the history of the NBA, imo. 69 wins .....33 in a row .....and there were some great teams around then -- the Alcindor/Robertson Bucks, an amazing Knick team (with many Hall of Famers), the high scoring Baltimore Bullets, and a Celtic team with some good young blood.

and the warriors were decnt then I recall. Your point is well made.

Magic would've eaten Isaiah alive. Dumars was taller, stronger, and just a better defensive player than Thomas. I agree, he belongs in the Hall.

Are those tears?

Tonight's Bill Walton word was "special". If he used it once, he used it 100 times. Get that man a thesaurus or make him go to class with the WFTD thread.

I liked Walton - or "Bill 217" (as Romey calls him) - better when he stuttered.

So are you cheering for that Frenchman Tony Parker on the Spurts?
To: HoneyBoo
wouldn't have a three-peat if the Kings could make a few clutch free throws Yeah, and if my aunt had gonads she'd be my uncle.

Make that 14 banners! Five in Minneapolis and nine in LA. When a man has no future, he dwells in the past.
To: Mr. Mojo
I believe so....

LOL!

When Jordan said the Pistons were undeserving champions the two years prior, no wonder the Pistons walked out.
