Prayers going up for the safety of this child.
Goodness, I hope this isn't another case of the family knowing this person they are looking for, and allowing him into their home!

The only bandwidth I think you need to be concerned with is the one around your head. It has been swollen to pompous proportions....

I heard about a successfully-resolved Amber Alert in Georgia recently. These things work.

Kidnappers have been known to cross borders into other states. San Bernardino is not that far from Nevada and Arizona, or Mexico for that matter, considering the seven hour time frame in which she disappeared.
To: Paleo Conservative
So why does the rest of the country have to waste bandwith about it? Everytime a child from California gets kidnapped, it dominates the news all over the country.
If you can guarantee that nobody outside of the California borders knows anything about the man or where he might be. If you can guarantee that, then the news can be stopped at the California (or Texas) border. Until then, little girls lives are more important than a few cpu cycles or a little bandwidth.

San Bernardino = Riverside = San Bernardino. Same general area.

So why does the rest of the country have to waste bandwith about it? There are a number of freepers in CA. As soon as we have a California-only-breaking-news you'll be relieved of the massive effort that you went through to click on this story and suffer the indignity of feeling compelled to respond to it. It's all about you, after all.

The suspect's vehicle may have been found, but empty. The story's a little vague.

I just hear that the van or truck they were looking for has been found abandoned. Pray for her to stay cool and look for way to escape. Poor child, poor parents!

Goodness, I hope this isn't another case of the family knowing this person they are looking for, and allowing him into their home! OHMYGOSH. Thanks for the warning. I have had many, many people in my home over the years. I had no idea that I have presented any risk to any children that might be there too. Sometimes I've even had people that I don't know come in and do carpentry, or work on the plumbing, or install my cable service. I've even had people stay over at the house that were only friends, not just family.
Wow. I'll be sure to never do that again. I had no idea the risk that I was causing. If something had ever happened it would have been all my fault! Boy, I guess I got lucky this time.
