Welcome to the Story, we tease alot, so do the catholics, we all have been together for over a year, it does get hot at times but what the hay, stay awhile and get to know everbody, ya might just learn something.

Hi history_matters (I'm sure you'll be abbreviated to "hm" soon! ;o), thanks for dropping by.

This thread has been ongoing for over a year, and many of the regulars have been here for at least several months. So, we've gotten to know each other pretty well. We have some pretty intense debate here at times. We do try to keep it from getting personal, though, unlike certain other unnamed threads. We have such a diverse group that anyone's beliefs are fair game for being challenged at one point or another. Many of the topics have been gone over a number of times, so a comment like Iowegian's is more than just an aside, but is referring back to prior debate. Each of us here is sure he is right, so it does get interesting! But despite our differences and squabbles, we've gotten to be good friends. If you stick around, you'll meet some great people from both the Catholic and non-Catholic sides. Even if they do disagree with you vehemently on doctrine.
