I think I speak for everyone when I say I'm right.
I'll forego humor here, and attempt a serious answer.
1. We agree on more things than we disagree about.
2. The things we disagree about take up most of the time of our discussion.
3. There are often preconceived notions and misunderstandings that underlie our disagreements.
4. We can learn a lot from what each of us believes.
5. Learning about the beliefs of others doesn't necessarily mean that we will change our own beliefs.
6. We can disagree about these things and still be friends and respect one another.
7. God will sort it all out in the end.
I thought these lessons were more important than the purely doctrinal matters.
