Thank you for the flag and for the links to the articles. Can you direct me to a transcript of Msgr. Clark's homily so that I can read what he said in context? Thanks again.

Unfortunately, I don't know of a transcript of the homily, online or offline. frogandtoad attended the Sunday Mass (he's a local parishioner of St. Pat's) and I have asked him to see if he can get hold of a transcript. I agree that it would be helpful to read what he actually said and not the liberal media's spin of what he said.
