She also is good friends with Clarissa Pinkola Estes. Prejean has also stated "at this point in our history we must look not to the Catholic Church but to the U.N. When pressed for her position on Church teaching she is coy and evasive. She's also spoken at Call To Action conferences.

So, Prejean's a total leftist. I've never heard of anything she's ever said except her total opposition to the death penalty.

I'd wager that, given his view of the death penalty, that John Paul II might vote for a new trial for Mumia Jamal as well.
