"2,4,6,8 - Israel is the Jewish State..."
Waiting to cross 5th Avenue today, one could hear the bullhorn chants as the Israeli day parade marched up to 79 th street in Manhattan. Cute stuff to be sure, but what does it say about the "peace" these folks want? A quick check of the Bible indicates the existence of a Palestine (let's not get into a discussion about its borders), have the Israelis decided that the reference in the Bible doesn't exist, never did and never will?
I was too, until I saw what happenned in this country on 9/11, and how it was applauded by your Palestinian buddies. Then I saw the suicide bombings, and determined that they people who do and applaud this sort of thing are a blight on the planet, and must be either corrected or removed.
Is that a nice thing to say about the great general Arafat. Is that acceptable, I ask you, is that acceptable?
No it does not.
No more than a country called "Levant" exists.
As for "should it", most civilized people instinctively know: No.
Unless and until those murderous savages learn to at least pretend to be civilized (as Saudi Arabia does, for instance), they don't deserve a country; even a miserable one.
Often the most effective lie is one of omission.
Why did you choose to ignore discussing Iraq? Modern Iraq?
The one created...
Never mind.
I disagree. Most people recognize that there will never be peace in the middle east until Jesus returns. There is no Palestine and the arabs (moslems) will always hate the Jews.
The religion of Islam is trying to stamp out Judaism and Christianity because the founder of islam (satan) hates the people of God.
The morally correct chant is exactly what they were chanting, the truth!
God Save America (Please)
The point is that Palestine was originally designed as an entirely Jewish state, which would mean that only Jews could be Palestinians. Later they decided that there would be an Arab Palestinian State, called Transjordan, later Jordan, and a Jewish Palestinian state, called Israel. So there is an independent Arab Palestinian state, namely Jordan. Any Arab Palestinians who wish to live in a non-Jewish state, need to move to Jordan.
Because I had nothing to add to or comment on in your discussion of Iraq. The only thing I found that I had a comment on was Iran. Fair enough?
To put it another way, why did you choose to ignore discussing Japan? (Yes there are things to say about Japan in the context of Palestine, but I do not feel like talking about it any more than you did).
Cute.
But if you look carefully at the comment you responded to...
Never mind, here it is...
the creation of a number of Arab states i.e Iran, Iraq
See? No mention of Japan; Iraq, however, is there.
How's your reading comprehension?
That would be extremely entertaining. We could play Cowboys and Pali's...
I find it tiresome arguing about nothing with someone I am in basic agreement with (read my other posts and see if I am wrong about this). You could have chosen to talk about Japan, you did not. I could have chosen to talk about Iraq, but I did not. There is no way you are going to get me to write about how right I think you are on this point, but if you really work at it, I may be able to find a way to disagree with you. Would this make you feel better?
Do you have any idea what that guy is talking about in #15? Confused the heck out of me.
Bwaha!
Since I live in our biggest city, I'd REALLY really like you to explain that remark. And right now too, you jackass.
How did this become the only issue the American media will cover? MYOB aa/ G. Washington and Ann Landers.
And by the way, his real name isn't Yasser Arafat, it's Mohammed Abdel Rauf al-Qudwa al-Husseini. He dropped the name al-Husseini to obscure his connection with the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Hitler's old buddy.
Is this guy REALLY threatening to destroy an American city? Either he is a nutcase, which is likely, and should be banned. Or he is a terrorist, which is possible, and should be banned and turned in to the FBI ASAP!
