But you are correct, there is a major difference between attacking what one has said as opposed to who attacking who one is. We would all do well to heed your counsel.

Spurgeon wons souls because he presented the Gospel as an appeal to the sinner to make a decision, not to wait for God to regenerate him.

I realize that you don't like for me to post to you, but you evidently need some help here, and I am willing to try again.

Spurgeon's position and approach are the Calvinists' position and approach. Spurgeon was not better than a Calvinist. He was a Calvinist. His preaching is completely typical of Calvinistic evangelism.

If you ever grasp what we are saying, you will grasp what we are saying, of course. But if you fail, it will be your failure, not ours.

When you get yourself in a theological snafu WHY don't we just post to Jim Robinson or John Huang or Aristeides.
