Thanks for reposting. Aside of being an intense and moving read, it is the thread on which Siobhan pinged her faither, history_matters, and told him he had to read it when he got out of the hospital... and we know he did not come home.

Another one of our dear friends, OxfordMovement, first posted here for prayers offered for his little boy Michael who was sick in the hospital with an unknown ailment. We all know that Michael is now with Jesus.

Kind of amazing that this post, so moving on its own, contains two of the saddest things to happen in the Catholic Caucus group. Someone else I think of often is Father Elijah. God Bless him wherever he is.
