My wife and I are in our mid 80’s and we never knew anyone with P cancer until 4+ years ago when a close male friend was diagnosed and died, before Covid.
Then, a male friend and a female friend got the diagnosis and were treated at UC SF General. Both are still clear.
In this last year, a female friend of my wife got PC and a male friend of both of us got PC and they did the UC program and are still alive.
Early this year one of my wife’s younger female friend’s husband was diagnosed with PC. He went to UC and seems to be doing okay.
All of the above are non smokers and have zero abusive habits.
They were in great shape before and after treatment.
