It was quite an experience and the views were breathtaking. We stayed up there a long time and I must say that the thought did enter my mind that something could happen to the buildings someday. Just returned from two days of Veep protesting at Gore's mansion in DC. Both days were fantastic. I had planned to be in DC this weekend for the Mega-Freep at the Veep's, but circumstances were such that I could not make it. I then chose to hop the train into New York City and I was very happy that I did. Last weekend my husband and I drove from the Northeast to Ft. Rucker, Alabama to attend his military reunion. This was a reunion for his troop which served in Vietnam from 1965 until the end of the war. These men were mostly helicopter pilots and crew chiefs during that time. Almost all were decorated for their heroism and service during their tenure.
