An Idaho bar has opted to counter LGBTQ Pride Month by celebrating 'Heterosexual Awesomeness Month' during the month of June, saying that without them 'none of us would be here.' Old State Saloon in Eagle, Idaho, which is just outside of Boise, announced this past Wednesday that each Monday would be 'Hetero Male Monday.' Any man dressed 'like a heterosexual male' will be entitled to a free draught beer, according to a Facebook post from the bar.

A court in Switzerland sentenced a writer and commentator to 60 days in jail for calling a journalist a âfat lesbian,â and the decision is being lauded by LGBTQ+ groups. On Monday, French-Swiss polemicist Alain Bonnet, who goes by Alain Soral, was sentenced by the Lausanne court for the crimes of defamation, discrimination and incitement to hatred after he criticized Catherine Macherel, a journalist for Swiss newspapers Tribune de Geneve and 24 Heures, in a Facebook video two years ago. âThis court decision is an important moment for justice and rights of LGBTQI people in Switzerland,â said Murial Waeger, co-director...

When the Mexican national soccer team, otherwise known as El Tri, visits Soldier Field, itâs cause for celebration on the lakefront. Fans tailgate and play loud music in the parking lots, and the matches are full of color and passion. Unfortunately, something unsavory frequently accompanies the festivities. During the 2019 Gold Cup final against the United States and a 2022 friendly with Ecuador, El Tri fans chanted a homophobic slur at the opposing goalkeeper. Two years ago, the Ecuador match was paused in the 81st minute as part of FIFAâs three-step system aimed at eliminating discriminatory incidents by fans, specifically...

Generations from now, people will look back at the infantilization of American society in the 21st century and laugh. If theyâre lucky enough, one of the things people in the future will hopefully get to read is a blog by the Department of Labor about âMenstrual Hygiene Day.â And if the silliness of the existence of something called âMenstrual Hygiene Dayâ wasnât bad enough, the authors referred to those who menstruate, otherwise known as âwomenâ to every other part of the normal and civilized universe, as âmenstruators.â âMenstruation affects half the U.S. workforce but talking about it at work can...

A theater in Massachusetts issued an apology to customers following an appearance by Richard Dreyfuss on Saturday night which caused many to boo the Oscar-winner while many walked out on the performance. Dreyfuss, 78, was appearing at The Cabot in Beverly, Massachusetts, for a question and answer session followed by a screening of Jaws, the mega hit which launched his career in 1975. Dreyfuss is accused of making derogatory remarks about members of the LGBTQ community, women in Hollywood as well as his collaborators. 'We deeply regret that Mr. Dreyfuss's comments during the event were not in line with the...

Whoâs ready for the nation to be covered in rainbows again this year? Apparently Walmart is, as it just released its newest collection for its gay clothing options this pride month. While the store seemed elated about its new clothes, users on social media, who are arguably tired of woke crap being literally everywhere, blasted not only the collection but Walmart as a whole. The video advertisement, which was shared on Walmartâs Instagram page, showed queer people gathered all together for a photo shoot. âQueer people have magic that we can share,â a man said at the start of the...

One of NATOâs primary missions is to spread instability throughout the world, using the military-industrial complex to bully and intimidate countries non-compliant with a militant anti-family anti-God agenda flowing out of Western capitals and promoted by Western media. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg asserted on Friday the alliance's commitment to defending the rights of LGBTQ individuals, aligning with numerous Western officials, institutions, and organizations in commemorating the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia. (snip) NATO is no longer seen by most nations of the world as a defensive alliance. NATO launched offensive wars against Yugoslavia in 1999 and Libya...

A priest in Florida bit the forearm of a woman he says was desecrating the Eucharist in a Communion line at church this past Sunday and has now been charged with one count of battery. Father Fidel Rodriguez, 66, admitted to police that he bit the woman but said he did so only after she reached into the ciborium and tried to grab a host from it, damaging other hosts as she did so. âThe only defense that I found to defend something that for us, for all of us, is sacred, was biting her. I have recognized that I...

(RNS) â Diocesan hermits by nature donât get much attention. A small subset of religious persons, hermits mostly spend their lives engaged in quiet prayer. Brother Christian Matson, a Catholic diocesan hermit in Kentucky, has spent years doing just that. His monkâs habit might catch his neighborâs eye, but he is known in the town where he lives primarily through his work with the local theater. But recently Matson decided that his faith compels him to make a little more noise than usual. âThis Sunday, Pentecost 2024, Iâm planning to come out publicly as transgender,â Matson told Religion News Service...

It was inevitable that when Disney took over the venerable British sci-fi show, it would use it to advance the LGBTQ+ agenda. In 1963, the BBC debuted Dr. Who, a show about an earth-friendly alien who zooms around time and space in his âTardis,â a spaceship disguised as a 1960s-era police callbox. In every episode, he has exciting adventures with his female sidekick and often saves mankind from bad aliens. The original show was retired in 1983, only to be rebooted in 2005. Along the way, the Doctor periodically âregenerated,â allowing new actors to replace the old ones. The latest...

âAs a founding institution and sponsor of Benedictine College, the sisters of Mount St. Scholastica find it necessary to respond to the controversial remarks of Harrison Butker as commencement speaker,â the statement on their website said. âThe sisters of Mount St. Scholastica do not believe that Harrison Butkerâs comments in his 2024 Benedictine College commencement address represent the Catholic, Benedictine, liberal arts college that our founders envisioned and in which we have been so invested.â Currently, the sisters of Mount St. Scholastica contain more than 80 women âdevoted to a communal life of prayer, work and hospitality,â according to their...

It doesn't get much more absurd than this. No, scratch that. It is 2024. We live in a simulation scripted by the Babylon Bee, and those guys are geniuses. It will get more absurd every day. Dr. Mary O'Connor is so respected by her colleagues that they invited her to speak as the keynote speaker at a Mayo event on the Florida campus. This is Dr. Mary OâConnor. She's employed by Mayo Clinic and was invited to speak at one of their conferences.Dr. O'Connor believes there are only 2 s*xes and men cannot be women. Due to these radical beliefs,...

[Catholic Caucus] Cardinal Hollerich again falsely claims Catholic teaching on male-only priesthood âcan be changedâPope St. John Paul II declared in his 1994 apostolic letter Ordinatio Sacerdotalis that it is ontologically impossible for women to be ordained to the priesthood.Cardinal Jean-Claude Hollerich has falsely claimed that the Church could change its teaching on a solely male priesthood and open the door to female ordinations. In an interview with the Swiss outlet kath.ch, Hollerich, who is the relator general of the Vaticanâs Synod on Synodality, said that the Churchâs rejection of female ordinations âis not an infallible doctrinal decision.âWhen asked by the...

Boiseâs Cathedral Of The Rockies is one of the worst churches goat pens around. Theyâre a pro-LGBTQQIP2SAA, pro-choice United Methodist Church (ie, not a church at all) that we last wrote about after they sent out a church newsletter encouraging congregants to help abortion-minded women by paying for their abortions, abortion pills, and traveling expenses to cover the costs of their baby-killing in light of the overturning of Roe. v. Wade. During a recent service, they put on a feminist remix of âBe Thou My Visionâ titled âGod of the Women.â Written by Carolyn Winfrey Gillette in 1998, she says...

On Wednesday, a federal appeals court ruled that parents in Marylandâs largest school district do not have the right to opt their children out of pro-LGBTQ curriculum in the K-5 grades. As reported by Fox News, the 2-1 ruling by the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a previous decision by a lower court, which denied the parents a preliminary injunction based on their alleged failure to prove that the policy would constitute a violation of the First Amendment right to freedom of religion. The plaintiffs, three pairs of parents who sued Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS), argued that...

On the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, my Administration stands in support and solidarity with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex (LGBTQI+) people around the world as they seek to live full lives, free from violence and discrimination. This is a matter of human rights, plain and simple. ... {skipping to the end} ... Today marks the 30th anniversary of when the World Health Organization made the wise and overdue decision to declassify âhomosexualityâ as a mental disorder. That was a victory for LGBTQI+ people and human rights defenders everywhere. 30 years later, the work of equality...

[Catholic Caucus] Vatican issues new norms on alleged visions, refusing to rule on supernatural origin of eventsThe updated procedures for determining the authenticity of alleged visions, approved by Pope Francis, reject declaring such events as being of supernatural origin, at most determining them as âfree from error.âCardinal Victor Manuel FernĂĄndez has issued new norms to assess and determine the authenticity of alleged visions, outlining a process which pulls power back to the Vatican and sets up the strong likelihood of confusion among the faithful. On May 17, the prefect of the Dicastery (formerly Congregation) for the Doctrine of the Faith...
