During Wednesday night's presidential debate, Newt Gingrich could barely restrain his amusement as co-moderator Maria Bartiromo defended the liberal media's reporting of the economy.
Bartiromo took umbrage after Gingrich's asserted, "What is amazing to me is the inability of much of our academic world and much of our news media and most of the people on Occupy Wall Street to have a clue about history." The CNBC journalist responded by huffing, "I'm sorry, but what is the media reporting inaccurately about the economy?" An incredulous Gingrich mocked, "I love humor disguised as a question. Gingrich did that yesterday:
“That is probably the dumbest single thing I’ve done in recent years,” Gingrich, a former House Speaker, said Tuesday on Fox News, calling the ad “inexplicable.”
It never ceases to grind me that so many Establishment Republican types will sit there and take it when a so-called news media person tries to make them look stupid. They should all be firing right back at them like that. Make them look like the fools that they are. They aren’t even “news” people, they’re celebrities, and they’re little more informed than a celebrity.

Outstanding. Can’t have a guy in there that can’t admit when he’s wrong. To many opportunities as President to be wrong. Being wrong is inevitable.
One of the big things about Kennedy I admired was owning up to the Cuban Missile Crisis as being his fault. When he and Kruschev first met, Kruschev owned him completely, and as a result Kruschev came away thinking he could continue to do so.
What did he do to his wife?
Tried to finalize a divorce from his first wife while she was in a hospital bed for cancer surgery. Widely reported and confirmed by the wife.

Nothing is listed in the Wiki information about how his first wife, his geometry teacher, was in a relationship with him while he was in high school. Not his fault but in todays world it would be scandal.

He was on Fox Special Report in the center seat. Clearly said he was wrong.

Visit was for the 2 girls to visit their mom.
Wife requested the divorce.
Wife was in for surgery to remove a benign tumor, there was no cancer.
If you don’t like him fine, but don’t like him for what he has done, not what was reported he did.
She could also be protecting her Dad, hardly convincing.
Wrong on that count too, acctually I’m leaning toward Gingrich.
