Another reason Obama will lose in November: He's losing the war in Afghanistan

How to lose the war in Afghanistan: Put a Democrat in charge of our military.

Just as when LBJ lost the war in Vietnam because he wouldn't fight it to win, which meant fighting to lose, Obama is fighting to lose in Afghanistan:

While saying that he was "confident that we can continue the work of meeting our objectives," the president said his goal was to "responsibly wind down this war" and "bring our troops home." He promised to "continue the work of devastating al-Qaeda's leadership and denying them a safe haven," but he made no mention of defeating the Taliban or of peace for the Afghans themselves.

Other signs that Obama doesn't care if America is defeated in Afghanistan:

  1. His SecDef was so frightened of our fighting men carrying weapons that he cravenly ordered them to disarm before speaking to them:

Marines told to disarm before Panetta's speech in Afghanistan

  2. Obama started off on the wrong foot by denigrating our ally:

[Came] to office pledging a revitalized campaign in Afghanistan. But he began by terminating President Bush's practice of regular personal communications with President Hamid Karzai. Several of his envoys treated Mr. Karzai roughly and disparaged him in public. The U.S. official most able to work with the Afghan leadership, Gen. Stanley A. McChrystal, was abruptly pushed out of his post because of a hyped magazine article. Mr. Karzai is an erratic personality - but is it any wonder that he has grown increasingly resistant to the Obama administration?

  3. Went against the advice of the generals on the ground for political reasons, not caring that doing so places our troops at higher risk:

The president reluctantly accepted the advice of his generals that he adopt a strategy of counterinsurgency against the Taliban and send additional troops to carry it out. But he arbitrarily cut the number of troops sought by commanders; set an equally arbitrary deadline for beginning their withdrawal; and rejected the military's advice that the pullout be staged after this year's summer fighting season.

  4. Negotiates with the Taliban without consulting our ally:

Negotiations with the Taliban are being pursued over Mr. Karzai's head, and sometimes in spite of his objections.

But really, why should Obama care if our troops die or are defeated? It's not like he knows any Liberals who are serving in the military. Heck, the closest anyone in his family got to a uniform was when his uncle was arrested on suspicion for drunk driving.

Barack has so little respect for the troops that he couldn't be bothered to find out if a man he was awarding the Medal of Honor to was alive or dead.

We need to boot his butt out of office in November! If for no other reason than to disappoint all those Liberals who are hoping for another defeat of the US military.

You ever watch that Jay Leno bit where he interviews people on the street and asks them the simplest questions and they get it wrong? Such as "Name a country that begins with the letter U" and the person says "Yugoslavia". Or "In World War 2 which countries did the USA fight?" and the person says "Canada and Australia".

I watched one of those videos the other night but with a different guy other than Leno doing the interviewing, and it went on and on and on and on, it was unreal, and it made me realize: This is what we are really up against. Not Obama but these brainless twits who will vote for him because of what they are told by the MSM. "Rock the vote" and all that other sensationalistic crap that fires up the couple of neurons they have in their cement filled skulls. So I'm asking myself, where is the GOP in all this? Why aren't they targeting these morons? THEY are the Democrats voter base!

No, I don’t miss W.

It's only going to get worse:

"We're gonna take you back, to the year 1939 when Charlie Chaplin and his Nazi regime enslaved Europe and tried to take over the world... "

But then an even greater force emerged, the UN and the UN. un-nazied the world - forever.

The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to an electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The republic can survive a Barack Obama It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.” — Author Unknown

That brave soldier should have requested a postponement on receiving his medal.

I wouldn’t be caught in the same room as that evil bastard.
