I have heard that Robeson was a red nut, but never a thing about Baker before this. I hope that she didn’t die still believing the Big Lie.
It’s a shame. She was a talented lady and performed heroic deeds in WW2. The biopic they did of her on HBO back in the early ‘90s omitted her Communist affiliations.
