Filipinos and Filipinas have had quite their share of this crap too. If one is not familiar with the Battle of Marawi, the size and duration of it is quite remarkable, especially given the seemingly modest Philippines’ air capabilities. Satellite view it and you can see that the considerable portion of city involved is still mostly... vegetation now.
