I am not surprised at all. I have seen for many years how bloodless and cruel the Chinese (and other Asians) can be. Think back to WWII and how POWs were treated. Think of the myriad of poor animals cruelly penned and bound in the Chinese “wet markets” and how they kill dogs and cats by beating them first. The people who did these heinous and wholly unnecessary experiments should be chopped up alive and doused with salt water, at a minimum. And then left to rot.
Of those in charge, you can add that their atheism into the mix. They are gods on earth, able to do whatever they want.
