Has anyone been able to figure out who this Chilean-American is in any depth beyond this one-note story of criticized Ukraine/dies in prison?
I’d say that he was someone who didn’t know what time it is.
He seemed to think that it was still 2017 and you could go on Youtube under your own name and say whatever you wanted and nothing would happen.
He was first arrested in 2022, but released under pressure, and he didn’t take the opportunity to leave. But continued to live in Kharkiv and criticize the Ukraine gov’t.
He was an American expat married to a Ukrainian.
He used to be mostly a conservative/men’s right social issue commentator.
He evolved into discussing more geopolitics including criticizing the UKR regime.
He was locked up in UKR jail for his speech. He was released and then then later captured at the border while trying to leave UKR.
Joe Biden allowed him to die in prison. Allegedly torture and abuse led to his demise.
