Yes, the only country that benefits from this war is China—as it continues to drain resources and money from both the US and Russia

The longer it goes on, the more China benefits.

The US loses either way in this war. If Russia wins, we lose.

If Ukraine wins, which is impossible, we lose even more. Who in the heck do you think will pick up most of the ASTRONOMICAL reconstruction and rebuilding cost of the inevitable Ukranian “Marshall Plan”?

The longer it goes on, the more China benefits, and the more we lose.

It's possible. Putin is 71 years old. He grew up in the Soviet Union so his life expectancy is probably 10 more years.

Ukraine will have to hold out for 10 years. It appears that the Ukrainian population is unwilling to surrender to the Russians.

Great points. We’ve been involved in proxy wars with Russia and China since the Korean War. The U.S. has been losing ever since.
