Definitely. Stress plus finding a way out, either another occupation or a truly compatible spouse, has lead to many in Hollywood getting out of the industry and avoiding publicity.

And I doubt this was the first time she's been out in 12 years. Probably just the first time someone recognized her and snapped a photo.
