So, let's say you are the parent of a high achieving school age child and you value education.....what are you going to do. Well you will either “home school”, send to private school, or leave for another school district. It is pretty obvious that most parents will do whatever they can afford to get a quality education for their children. The students left in the “dumbed down” school district will just help lower of the overall academic standards.
This is how school districts self-destruct and take the communities within them down, as well.
