Dang whiny Russians. Sand is sand. If we damaged any of Syria’s precious sand, they can sue us at the ICJ. I can understand the Iranian reaction after we killed all those Iranians in retaliation for their murderous attack on us. Technically it could be considered a violation of international law since our troops in Syria and Iraq are there against the wishes of those 2 respective governments to begin with. So of course Putin will use this for anti-American propaganda, hardly surprising.
