Why do people feel the need to embarrass themselves like this?
Keep your pie hole shut.
Idiot. And it’ hilarious how some some think he’s some kind of decent man or a patriotic kinda guy because he had a movie role about a SEAL.
He’s still a Hollywood guy.
Weird. Probably not married
Not a family
Women do this to their kids. Why fool
Around with someone who hasn’t married you. The kids are the ones who suffer
This child does not want to hear this or read it but she will
Its why God gave women maternal instincts and higher levels of agreeableness and openness - or we would never have survived as a species.
Most of those people in Hellywood are dopes. What an awful thing to say.
“Hey dude, shoot the kid, but not me”.
What a Dad.
Who?
As if this is important?
He's right, but probably not in the same manner as some are. We don’t say “I’d take a bullet for my kids.” We follow Patton.
He is an absorbed actor who if you remember put weight for American Sniper, thus he rarely has the luxury to get in touch with himself.
He is essentially making the point he doesn’t take time out to live or feel anything but his current role.
I completely understand his emotional disconnect.
That said, he better enjoy the roses or his kids will be just like Harry Chapin’s song, He’s a lot like me song when the sin becomes the distant dad in the end.
This jerk perfectly exemplifies the me-first pro abortion believers.
It happens. More often than people like to admit. Not everybody connects with their kids right away. Not everybody connects with their kids ever.
I suppose, following obama’s example, cooper looked on his child as a burden.
It’s impossible to quantify the immense love a new parent ordinarily has for a newborn. And it only grows from there,
But cooper and his ilk are not ordinary people; they are, of course, our betters.
"IT" ??????
A narcissistic navel-gazer. Every stupid thought that’s crossed his mind is worthy of deep contemplation by the stupid women who care about celebrities.
So, the girl will now grow up knowing her dad is a complete idiot that did not love her. Real smart.
I’d take a bullet for my kids. But I would kill for my grandkids.
- Ray Kinsella (Kevin Costner), Field of Dreams
So it took him a little while to grow into being a father and learn to love his kid. *shrug*. OK. It happens. After a few months he got there. I don’t see why this would be a big deal to anyone so long as he’s a good and loving dad now and for the rest of his time with his daughter.
