I find the article confusing.”Worst rated?” By whom? The text is generally neutral and doesn’t explain why the dish should be “worst rated.” Boston baked beans? Really? Cincinnati chili? Why? My forebears came from New Mexico and biscuits are actually the official state cookie. They’re delicious. Why are they here? Etc etc etc. lots of stuff I wouldn’t touch with a stick, but also some very nice dishes. Article doesn’t make much sense

Ive had almost all of it. Most of it is pretty normal food. Some of it is the worst version Ive ever seen, some is a regional twist, and some totally normal things seem to be added just to stir conversation just like this thread.
