Controversy is flaring over this year’s Pittsburgh Pride festival after event organizers claimed that state officials prevented them from holding the annual celebration of the LGBTQ+ community at Point State Park in the Golden Triangle.
The state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, which runs the park, countered that there were problems with the group’s permit application.
Pittsburgh Pride had announced in January intentions to host the annual celebration at Point State Park.
On Tuesday evening, however, organizers wrote on social media that they were forced to change plans “in response to unforeseen circumstances.”

A lot of these campus protests have LGBTQ elements I assume that “Free Palestine” crowd was in the plans for this festival.
Democrat Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro last week issued a statement saying I support protests but do not support “discrimination”.
Any Palestinian protest is defined by Josh Shapiro’s Administration as “discrimination”.

Not surprising considering that Shapiro smeared his Republican opponent Doug Mastriano as an “Anti-Semite” in 2022.
Every protest is “Anti-Semitic” in the minds of folks like Shapiro including the protests against the COVID regime imposed on us four years ago.
In the case of the pro-Palestinian mobs, dripping with hatred of Jews, Shapiro is right.
In 2020 when people protested COVID mask orders in the Boise Idaho area there was an “Anti-Semitic” incident quickly denounced by the Republican Governor and other top GOP officials.
They were linking it to Anti-COVID protests in the end I believe the incident was staged to discredit anti-mask protests.
Is history repeating itself due to the gravity of the situation in Israel right now.
