Sorry all submariners are better than all marines.

2002 was the 'whistler blowers'.
A far worse choice, and multiple people too.

It should be President Bush - our brave soldiers have accomplished wonders, but they did so carrying out his orders. It won't be, because the leftist press refuse to give President Bush credit for anything. My sole consolation is that I'm sure the President couldn't care less.

Uh...this is the same magazine that chose the PERSONAL COMPUTER one year (1984?). So this choice of the entire American military is not exactly unprecedented for TIME.

And how about "The Endangered Earth"?

I think the cover show at the beginning of the thread is NOT really from Time, but a Photoshop exercise. There is nothing like that at the real website of time mag:

Agreed. President Bush had more impact then any other single individual on Earth in '03

That was a pathetic choice too.

Except this image is from time.com..
Unless they are putting out disinformation, I think it's the real deal.

Check the link directly in post #2! It is a link to an old Time page with a link to the Current Issue cover, showing the above! And the Google cache of that page shows last week's cover, bearded Saddam.
The URL of the picture is this...a Time URL:
http://i.timeinc.net/time/personoftheyear/2003/images/cover_thumb.jpg The ONLY way that pic could be a fake is if Time intentionally put it out there to trick people, OR if Time is going to change their mind before making their home page live with this.

You have said it best.
Thank You!
Oh and by the way, let us have the common sense to keep that Commander In Chief.
FRegards...

I couldn't find it at time.com
They have Saddam on the cover for the current issue: Dec. 22, 2003.
