If that is the choice, then I'd be happy with that. The American soldiers are led by a great commander-in-chief who does everything to give our fighting men and women the credit for their stunning accomplishments. This is but a small nod of appreciation to their skills, their honor, their courage, their decency, and their nobility.

If that is the choice, then I'd be happy with that. Me too. However, I cant help but feel that over at Time magazine they were tearing their hair over trying to find someone, anyone, to choose other than Bush. Knowing full well that choosing someone like Saddam would have brought the whole world down on their heads, and that they chose the American soldier to shut us up.

As a long-time supervisor, I have to say that a leader is only as good as the people he has working under him. They have the power to make or break you. I agree that the President is a remarkable man and leader, but since he's already been Man of the Year once, I'd say the honor should go to the people who work for our freedom and safety every day of the year.
