NEVER FORGET
JOHN KERRY called American Soldiers fighting for Freedom during the Vietnam War ..Terrorists.
.......vs......
MEL GIBSON decided he had to do his "PASSION of the Christ" while filming "WE WERE SOLDIERS" ..our true story about we American Soldiers fighting for Freedom during the Vietnam War. *
(* This per STEVE McVEETY, Producer of "The PASSION of the Christ" -&- "WE WERE SOLDIERS" ..on the PAX TV Network, February 22/24, 2004)

Those 2 wars could not be more different, politically, environmentally, and the magnitude of the threat. I agree with Michael Savage about the critics, warmed over leftist, leftovers from Vietnam protests that are now part of the mainstream media and teaching in the journalism schools.

Aloha Ronnie - on a second thought - I already told you my real email with no bad side effect. We talked quietly once or so. I always try to post a pic to my FR home page, LOL. Got new ones? I'll proudly post 'em!
There is a new guy who doesn't know too many folks yet. I know you will befriend him. SoldierDad is his name, and I'm copying him here to this post. He has a young Son now serving.
God love our vets - past and current!
I did really private email years ago. I won't do that again publically - too many non-folks bombarded it.
Best to FReepmail me here!

I wrote to both repeatedly.

I didn't cry but this movie brought back some things I thought were long gone. My favorite flick of all time. A horrible story of a battle, a great story about Americans.
A good book, for any wishing to read of the successes in Viet Nam, as well as the betrayal by the media and useful idiots as Kerry, is "Unheralded Victory" The defeat of the Viet Cong and the North Vietnamese Army by Mark W. Woodruff.
Few people know just how decimated the Communist Forces were by American and South Vietnamese, as well as the Australian and even South Korean Troops.
After stunning defeat and failure of the Tet of 68 Offensive, The North saw the path to their victory was by playing to the American anti-war left and inflicting American casualties to break America's resolve.
Sound familiar?

The Honor guard band played it while marching behind Reagan's cortege as well.
