Pictures of a vietnamese Re-Education Camp (Vietnam Human Rights Bill)

Keep in prayer for the Vietnam Human Rights Bill. It is presently in the Senate after passing by a wide margin in the House.

If you have any doubt about whether the Bill should pass, take a look at the picture below of an actual re-education camp in Vietnam provided by the Montagnard Foundation. Re-education camps are where believers are typically sent.

Stay tuned as we will post a picture per day over the next 4 days.

Make that Little Saigon CA Attorney ..DINA NGUYEN.. running for Garden Grove CA City Council in Year 2006, not CINDY NGUYEN, who's pinning a Freedom and Heritage Flag of Vietnam lapel pin
on a smiling broadly Gov. ARNOLD's suit lapel...

...as seen in his website's very happy Photo Essay Photo.

"America, such a wonderful country. "

It's funny, hanging out with Vietnamese-Americans makes me more aware of that on a daily basis.

The other day I was on the phone with a customer service rep, and started to spell my wife's name for him ("It's Vietnamese.... N-G-U....")

"That's OK. I know how to spell it. It's my last name too."

Stuff like that makes me happy.

I've liked Vietnamese Americans in all my encounters with them. Too bad the best pho restaurant in Broward county shut down and now is a Chinese restaurant. I love pho!

Do you know if most Vietnam's here are ethnic Chinese?

The funny part is this Nguyen rep. may have had zero accent. Sounded 100% native American becasue that's what he is.

Don't know about Broward, but there are several restaurants here in Northern VA that are Chinese/Vietnamese, usually with an emphasis on one or the other but having both kinds of cuisine (e.g., pho, mi xao, Peking Duck, salted steamed chicken, etc). I'd say that in all cases those kinds of restaurants are run by Vietnamese who are also ethnic Chinese. Sometimes the menus are in Chinese, Vietnamese, and English.

No accent whatsoever. As American as apple pie. I'd never have known if he hadn't mentioned it.

I did a presentation in a college class about Vietnam recently and included some pictures of elected VanTran and the Free Flag. I also told them about a "good FRiend" who sometimes ends up in newphotos wearing his BRIGHT Yellow Jacket, symbolizing the Free Vietnam Flag! I told them to read carefully when hearing news reports and to be aware that there are those against freedom.

They were impressed by learning about the Vietnamese community and their dedication to FREEDOM!

Freedom Fighters come in all shapes, sizes, races and nationalities!

Freedom-LOVING Vietnamese Americans registered (R) for the 1st time by the 1,000's in Election Year 2004...

...just to vote against JOHN KERRY (D).

For, you see, Vietnamese Americans have NEVER FORGOTTEN how JOHN KERRY (D) helped kill Freedom for their homeland South Vietnam long ago.

And they just don't want to lose it all again here in this new Time of War in a new century.

For they, and we, would then have nowhere else to go..?

Wisdom is as Wisdom does, perhaps..?

It is a far cry from your statement about communist nations never allowing any religious worship.

That may be true, but you make the point, they allow it and by so doing, control it. It's not a right, but a state-sanctioned privilege.

Too bad a national campaign ad can't be made ASAP that includes a group of our soldiers in Iraq detailing their "educational background" for Kerry and the slimeball Liberals. That would make total schmucks out of all of them.

"Vietnamese Americans have NEVER FORGOTTEN how JOHN KERRY (D) helped kill Freedom for their homeland South Vietnam long ago."

Here in Northern VA there are a dozen or more Vietnamese newspapers.

During 2004 there were countless articles and letters about "phan boi" Kerry.

"Phan boi" = traitor.
