In one portion of the video a Montagnard described how Vietnamese authorities chained him to a wall while forcing him to stand over nails in 2003. Vietnamese police taunted him by saying, "Where is your Jesus now?"

You are saying that if it wasn't for Christianity, the Montagnards would be left alone by the authorities? It is only because of their religion that they are being 'persecuted'? Give me a break. I have no idea if this report is accurate or not, but I know there is a lot more to the story than just this.

Your profile says you live in Nevada. I am living in Thailand. That should be a strong hint to you that I know what is going on in this part of the world. I have spent time in Laos, Vietnam, and Burma this year. How about you?

Yes there are human rights violations in Vietnam, Laos, Burma, Malaysia, and even Thailand. Stating that they are simply because of religious persecution completely trivializes what these people are going through. If you really cared about these people, you would care about all the people involved in the abuses and not simply 'Christians'.

I am curious why the site you are so fond of doesn't mention persecution for other reasons. Maybe because it does not fit into their narrow agenda?

Because it was set up specifically to chronicle Christian persecution all over the world, of which there is a great deal. This group focuses their efforts in one direction, thereby maximizing the use of their resources. There is nothing wrong with that.
