I agree. My point in a post on another thread is the media isn't a customer-driven business. It treats people who consume their product with a degree of contempt and disdain intolerable in any other business. For a long time, due to the absence of a viable alternative, the public had to put up with the likes of non-entities such David Shaw and Eric Slater. No longer. The rise of FOX NEWS CHANNEL and Internet blogs have changed everything. And what it means is either the media will change how it deals with readers, listeners and viewers or it will die. When people DO have alternatives, let's face it, the old ways of doing business are no longer good enough. Not even for the David Shaws of the world.

yep.

and they haven't figured that out yet.

they're still in the early 20th c thinking that they can shove their socialist junk down the pipe and we consumers will turn the spigot on down below and drink up.
