Someone on this thread noted that Murtha is on a media attention high. No doubt. I wonder how he'll feel when the DNC and their lap dogs, the media, dump him after he has exhausted his usefulness to them.
He's got a very rare combination of attributes for a Democrat: long military service, and political power. He'll be of use to the MSM as long as he wants to be.
The bitterness of Max Cleland says it all. To this day, Max does not realize how he was used in the Kerry Dog and Pony show. To this day, Max blames the nasty, mean conservatives for destroying his Senate career.
He has never even considered he may have lost on his record.
