Hollywood is going to go from a black hole to a bright, shining light, when God gets finished with it. Watch in awe and wonder when God "pours out His Spirit on all flesh." Its going to make all so called "revivals" look like a tinker toy convention.
Now that Star Wars is finished I don't really see myself wasting $7.50 to line the pockets of anti-American hollyweird ingrates ever again.
At first, I was renting less and less videos because the quality of contemporary movies stinks. But over the past 4 years, I just decided "screw 'em", they're not getting any more of my money.
We are at war, and if Hollywood can't make a few movies that cater to the majority of Americans who think that Islamic extremism poses a grave threat to our security, then I'm not interested in anything else these liberal writers, directors and actors have to offer.
There were tons of patriotic WWII movies. So if today's Hollywood moguls think that those old war movies were something that we should either laugh at or be ashamed of, and that the only credible war movies are the ones that are directed by the likes of Oliver Stone or Steven Spielberg, which trash our military, they need to have Middle America give them the middle finger.
Let the big city pseudo intellectuals keep them in business.
Now, think about getting out of high school or college, having little money, and deciding you're going to go to Hollywood to break into movies or television. Most people will tell you flatly, it's not a rational dream. At any point in time, probably 95% of all actors are out of work. Even after you hit the top, you can hit the basement in an hour. Anybody heard anything from the three boys who were the sons on Home Improvement lately? Every one of them talked about projects they were going to do when Home Improvement ended. But they apparently couldn't get work. So who goes there? Basically three types of people. First, the emotionally unstable. These are the people so desperate for cheers and approval that they would do ANYTHING to get it. Second, the people who hate where they are, hate small town or midwest or suburban America so much that they'd risk anything to get away. The third are the predators. They're the ones who take advantage of the other two. They're the manipulators, the sex freaks, and the drug pushers.
Basically the message that comes out of Hollywood is the viewpoint of the people who are drawn to it. Want to know why there are so many stories about drug dealers? Cause so much drug dealing goes on. Want to know why there are so many movies that feature the sickest kind of sex you can think of? That's what they like. Want to know why the movies all paint middle America as this vast wasteland of morons, nonthinkers, and hateful people? That's how they see us.
This is absurdly oversimplified, of course. There are good people in Hollywood, just like everywhere else. But I always tend to go for the simple explanations. They do these kinds of movies because that's what they like, and that's how they see things.

The way to take Hollywood BACK is to regain it the way the left took it over. Expose the blacklist.
AND expose the Red ties to Hollywood of old.

Yours are very interesting ideas, R. You could well be right. The same crowd also gravitates to the Left, including the Democrat Party. I've been saying that the Democrat Party is the party of sociopaths and morons. We might also add the seriously delusional. It's the sociopaths, as you say preditors, who manipulate and exploit the morons and other assorted nuts who make up the rank and file of the Left.

Conservatives in Hollywood should ban together and out the leftists for blacklisting them. If it were an issue of race or sex or religion, we would have a strong lawsuit. They should be outed.

Political beliefs aren't a protected class though. Gender, Race and Religion are.
