I hope there is no infighting in the GOP over this. We all need to settle on one person...support them...and blast Hillary back to hell.
K.T. McFarland is an idiot. Every time she opens her mouth she makes a fool of herself. She has no political talents.
Spencer was a great mayor of Yonkers, which happens to be one of Westchester's few disaster areas. He has plenty of political experience and executive talent. If Pataki weren't trying to ensure that no one pops up who can challenge his political clout in the state--obviously a pointless exercise, since he is now washed up anyway--Spencer would be the obvious candidate.
I don't know what Spencer's views on abortion are, but otherwise he reminds me of Brett Schundler in New Jersey, a great candidate who was stupidly undermined by the RINO faction in the RNC.
Let's go with Spencer.

Now, if only the State and National GOP would fall in line behind him instead of just looking for some PC sacrificial lamb like McFarland who won't make them look too bad as they push a sure loser (McFarland).
This could be the great surprise upset victory of 2006! (but, I don't for the hapless NY and National GOP to recognize it, much less take take advantage it)
